I am going to cabo san lucas in the spring , right now I am switching from chemically relaxed hair to natural lush kinky hair, I still have some relaxed hair is a little past shoulder length haven't done the big chop yet, last relaxer was in october, But in the spring when I go to mexico I want a sew in, but my husband doesnt really like sew ins, and I really don't want braids, what do I do? I need a vote sew-in? or braids? or any other suggestions to help. Just need it to be easy and care free. Thanks!

Sew in's look weird with the natural hair if you don't get the whole head done and even if you DO get the whole head done, it will be breaking off your hair.

Even though you may not like braids they come in handy.

However if you don't care about your relaxed hair breaking off then definitley go with the sew in because then you will be able to go in the water!!! Your braids will get ruined quickly if you are going to be going in and out of pools/water

Braids are the best thing for you. If you are going on vacation with a sew in weave, you'll have no where to get your hair washed and styled. Braids are also good when you are oing natural. It causes less damage (if you get it done right) and are much easier to maintain than a weave.

Braids are a better choice i hate hair with sew-ins. and sorry i am white. i love my natural hair.

o0o that sux, but that really makes me feel blessed that i have hair that grows really fast and that is long when i want it to be and short when i cut it but i don't have to worry about it growing back. thanxx mama for your hispanic heritage and thanxx papa for your haitian and asian heritage. i love them. my hair is short now though. down my neck a little. braids are a better choice though. sew in's look trashy and nasty. :-)

Definitely braids. You really won't have access to the type of management you need on your trip. Plus, it is less wear and tear on your hair.

I have shoulder length hair and it works very well with the wet set. What my stylist does is she washes and conditions it. Put the setting lotion in it, curls the hair with rods or pin curls. I sit under the dryer for a good hour and a half and I have natural curls. What I love about it is that it lasts for two weeks with very little maintenance. All I do is spray it every morning with an oil sheen put a headband over it and I'm ready to go.

And **** whoever gave me a thumbs down. LOL
