Ok, Um School is coming and i still haven't found a regimen for everyday makeup. I have brown eyes and black hair. I like natural makeup. (First i take a shower, then I do my hair, then my daily skin care, then I eat then brush teeth then do my makeup) I have 2 hours to get ready, so I need a something I can do really quick. Please help!
School/Everyday Beauty Rigimen?
The perfect look for everyday is natural but polished. Being a student myself (a college student to be exact!) with brown eyes and black hair (just like you), I need to look cute and pretty in a quick and simple manner - plus I am on a tight budget and need to get products that are inexpensive, but that WORK.
So with that said, I've narrowed the "Perfect Everyday Look" down to 4 Basic Products. This look is so easy to acheive that it can be created in less than 5 minutes!
Step 1. Tinted Moisturizer- Not only will this stuff hydrate your skin, providing the perfect base for makeup, but it will also help to lightly even it out. Unlike foundation, tinted moisturizer is very sheer and only covers what needs to be covered- it will not add layers upon layers of heavy product onto the skin. A great oil-free one to try is Cliniques Moisture Sheer Tint SPF 15 ($24). This stuff does not clog pores, and is suitable for all skintypes. As well, it also has SPF 15 to protect skin from the sun. It's pretty much 3 products in one compact tube! **By the way, you can apply this tinted moisturizer as part of your daily skincare routine to cut down on time!**
Step 2. Concealer - For the extra heavy duty coverage, concealer is your bestfriend. Lightly dab on a bit of concealer on any areas that the tinted moisturizer did not cover up too well, such as your pimples and undereye circles (if you have any that is). A good one to try is Physicians Formula 4-1 Concealer Palette $8: It has a selection of colors you can blend with to acheive the right coverage, plus a green cream concealer that you can dab on to any pimples to treat redness
Step 3. Highlighter - For that extra wash of color on your face, you can never go wrong with a pigmented highlighter. Try Wet n Wild Illuminating Cream $4. As a 3 in 1 product (a pretty pink blush - a shimmery eyeshadow - and a soft glossy lipbalm), this product is a real bargain. Just lightly dab this product on your cheeks, eyelid, and lips, for that pretty and brigthened look. By applying this, you enhance and "highlight" your features, but in a soft and subdued way.
Step 4. Mascara - This stuff should be every girls bestfriend. Depending on what you are looking for , there are multitudes of mascara brands and products you can choose from - volumizing, lengthening, curling, seperating, priming, coloring, tinting , etc. However, to acheive the most natural look try Covergirls LashExact Mascara $6 for the best lengthening and non-clumpy look. A few coats of this stuff should help you acheive that pretty- but polished look.
And there you have it! The Perfect 5 Minute Face. Depending on what products you end up getting, this is a very quick, and affordable routine. You can even do this when you wake up late and are rushing to class (I know i have!)
By the way, if you want to apply more makeup, this look is a great base to have! To bring out your brown eyes, try purple eyeshadows or eyeliners - the contrast really makes them pop!

Just use concealer if you need it anywhere, a little mascara, and some chapstick or lipgloss. Easy.

Im not sure what you are looking for as if you want to do a concealer then blush or what but that is what i recommend. One tip with concealer is go a shade lighter than your skin apply all over your face then get a good bronzer i like compact personally and get a good brush, brush up on your cheeks, in a circle on your forehead down/out on your nose then down on your chin maybe a little under your chin and a a light stroke on your neck to make it look even. that is your base pretty much then i think that you should take nice pencil liner run it along your eye lashes of your upper lid and light right up against your lashes on the bottom. take a nice natural color eye shadow that is not to popping and apply it on your eye lids remembering that the lighter shades are more up towards your eyebrows and the darker shades are more towards the lashes. Then just apply a nice mascara and you are set for the day. Im not sure if you are a lipstick or lip gloss kinda person but if you are into lipstick go for a really relaxed tone nothing to shocking, but if you are into lip gloss a cute clear or nutural tone will make your eyes pop. Good luck I'm sure you will look greatt!!
