as far as the good bad thing, this is yet ANOTHER problem that had its beginnings in slavery

maybe you don't realize it or know but to the rest of society, and to our people who have internalized this ignorance, the closer features or hair texture you have to non black people, the "better" you supposedly are

growing up ignorant people (of all colors) told me how special I was because I had straight hair and green eyes

it is sad...just teach your children better, the way my parents taught me

If you think your hair is good, than you have good hair. I have met blond people with kinky hair, is their hair good because they are white. We are a mixed nation, unfortunately, the devil is the one controlling the minds of people, making everyone fight over stupid issues. We should be standing up and fighting for our rights in this country, that we are losing.

Well, that is ignorant because what constitutes as "good" hair, for that matter what is "bad" hair. Personally, I think good hair is hair that is healthy, maintained, and styled well no matter what the texture, type, style, or all natural. Secondly, kinky and curly hair is kind of the same thing, curly hair is loose curls and kinky hair is tight curls, so they are both curly. Unfortunately, it is one of those debates about physical features like skin shade.
