i want to ask this really beautiful girl out (we're both sophmores in high school-i'm 15, she's 16) %26amp; i want to be as attractive as possible (it's complicated but she might have liked me last year because of my smarts but i haven't talked to her in a year). And do i sound attractive (personality wise, i don't think looks r that much of an issue here)? if ur going 2 say that i'm 2 young to have a gf then don't answer.

i have okay looks (asian, black hair)

height: 5' 6"

very mature

makes money on ebay- $25-100/month

golf team- very busy during golf season (February - May)

smart (4.0 GPA, taking a college class next year)

dedicated and always tries my best

courteous

honest

shy-never had gf

good with children- teach golf 2 little kids on Fridays.

not strong but not weak

caring/friendly

neither popular or unpopular

not cocky but not insecure

This answer came from my 16 year old daughter. She thinks your not to young to have a girlfriend that's apart of growing up. She says looks isn't everything and its not the most important thing. If u have a great personality then your friend is going to want to be around you. If you think she liked you last year you should further your friendship with her. You seem smart and well-rounded what girl wouldn't want to be with you.

I say go for it. You should like a great and an attractive person. Make sure you be your-self around her and don't try to act like someone else that your friends tell you to be. I dint think your to young for a girlfriend.

ok, it depends how this girl's attitude is. honestly if your a really ugly asian guy some shallow girls won't go out with your, but since you said you have okay looks i think you'll be fine.

now don't try to show off your brain too much, i mean it's good that you have one, but girls also like a guy who can have fun and not be a total show-off-y smart guy.

you should show a little more emotion. and one thing, girls like guys who play sports, but physical sports, not golfing. overall you seem pretty good though, you should go for it!

If she is one of those girls that are really into themselves or all about status then I would say skip out on this one so you don't get your heart broken. Go for someone you feel comfortable being around and the older you get and the more relationships you have, the more confidence you'll gain. I just finished my freshman year in college so I'm done with the high school scene, but girls can be really immature at that point in their lives and might just try to hurt you to make them seem "cool"

im not going to say your too young to have a gf but i am going to say that during high school relationships are there because they enjoy each other's company.. does not matter YET that you are good with kids or have a decent income

ask yourself this though... you say you want a relationship and not a fling but aside from the fact that she is beautiful do you really like her? i mean would you even ask her out even if she was not?

also there is not harm in asking her out if you really do want to.. if she says yes then that would be your chance to learn more about her.. if not.. well.. more fish in the sea ^_^
