i,m a guy who walks down the street

with black brown or grey hair

do you see me when i am passing

do you smile and say good day

or do you go about your business

it,s just another day

would,nt it be nice

if we could pass each other by

with a smile on our face

and greeting with a hi

ok it is only wishful thinking would be nice though

I always smile at strangers...It confuses them, when I'm in the car wth my hubby we always 'beep' at strangers and wave, that's funny, as most of them wave back with a confused look!

Well when i pass ppl i do smile because i get tired of seeing ppl that have a smug or sad or empty look on their faces. I see the same thing when i see them in their cars. So i do not want to be like them. So I smile at them and sometimes they will smile back. A smile takes no effort, i also wave at ppl that are walking when i am in my car, so i wish everyone would try it.

I live in Hawaii and I do this everytime. I smile and say good morning to people I know or don't know. Or I'll smile and say "Hi" as I pass people through out the day. Why not? Doesn't cost me nothing.

And if they don't want to smile back or offer a greeting, no biggie! I'm not offended or think the person is rude. Maybe they don't want to greet me. It's their right.

I guess I'm just in a happy place that some people may not be at or care to be at.

Just have to remember, it's all good!

you must live in london! There are some places where people smile you know-it's quite a revolutionary, but nice thing!
